Childrens Parade - contact  Lisa Ebert at the Winsted Library with specific questions and refer to Events parade for registration information.

Grand Parade - held on the second Sunday in August at 1:00 PM.

       Parade length is approximately 1 ½ miles.

       Pre-registration is required and due before July 24th.

 Parade day Check-in is required. Check-in station will be located at the South end of town at the corner of Baker Ave & 3rd St between the hours of 11:00 & 12:30.

Your parade unit number & line up location will be given to you at this time.

                                                                                                                             

RULES - To keep our Parade safe, please abided by the following rules:

1.     No alcoholic beverages allowed on units or with personnel.

2.     No water balloons or spraying of water.

3.     No exhibition driving or performance which would endanger spectators or participants.

4.     All animal units must supply a cleanup unit immediately following their unit.

5.     Throwing or handing out, of candy or other items is allowed, however it must reach or    go beyond the curb. Please keep it off the middle portion of the street.

6.     Keep pace with the unit in front of you. Please no more than 90 feet between units. If you cannot keep up, you must pull off to the side and let the rest of the parade go by.
